About Jennifer
Welcome,
If you’re seeking clarity or simply wondering whether support could help, I encourage you to continue exploring counseling or coaching. I say this both personally and professionally—before becoming a counselor, I was a client myself, and therapy played a meaningful role in my own healing. It’s important to review several provider profiles and choose someone you feel connected to.
My background is diverse, with over 20 years in counseling and several years in special education. About a decade ago, I stepped into the business world and gained experience in real estate and finance/insurance. Navigating a major career shift while raising two young boys taught me a great deal about resilience, and it strengthened the way I support clients who are managing stress, transitions, or high pressure environments.
When Covid brought rapid change, I returned to counseling through virtual work and continued expanding my training in mindset coaching. In addition to being a Professional Clinical Counselor, I’m a Mental Performance Mastery Certified Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Online Coach through ISSA.
My areas of experience include: supporting anxiety, stress, and depression with healthy coping strategies; guiding individuals through eating disorder recovery; helping with ADHD focused tools to improve attention and follow through; strengthening grounding and mindfulness habits; deepening connection and spirituality; building resilience; developing healthy boundaries; and cultivating mindset shifts that support a more flexible, growth oriented way of moving through life.
My approach is grounded in meeting clients where they are, understanding both their challenges and strengths, and developing a plan for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I draw from cognitive behavioral strategies, holistic and mindful practices, and faith based counseling.
The main email that I will be using is [email protected]. This is a HIPAA compliant email (and is the reason that you are asked to create a password). Regarding my license and certification, if you live in Ohio, I am able to provide counseling or coaching. But, if you live outside of Ohio, I am only able to provide coaching. This is an area that we can discuss further during our initial appointment.
One of my favorite quotes: Ego says, "Once everything falls into place, I'll feel peace." Spirit says, "Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place." - Marianne Williamson
I look forward to working with you.
