About Jourdan
Jourdan Travers is a licensed psychotherapist and Clinical Director of Therapytips, where she specializes in anxiety, mood disorders, and the deeper relational patterns that quietly shape how we feel about ourselves and others.
Jourdan works from a psychodynamic and attachment-based framework — meaning therapy with her isn’t just about managing symptoms. It’s about understanding where they come from, and building something more lasting in their place. Her approach is warm, direct, and grounded in what the research actually says about how people change.
She holds an MSW from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University Northridge, and has trained and practiced across respected clinical settings including Promises Treatment Center, Malibu Vista, and the Lindner Center of Hope.
Her clinical insight has been featured in publications and outlets including The New York Times, Good Morning America, BBC, and the Today Show, to name a few.
