Self-awareness refers to the ability to consciously recognize and understand one's own emotions, thoughts, behaviors and their impact on oneself and others. It involves being mindful of your internal states—such as feelings, desires and motivations—and how these states influence your actions and interactions with others.
The Self-Awareness Outcomes Questionnaire is a psychometric tool developed to measure the various effects of self-awareness on an individual's life. It measures the growth and acceptance that arise from increased self-awareness. Crucially, it prompts users to reflect on the personal insights they've gained through self-reflection, as well as how this awareness influences their life and relationships.
